The Senior Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in implementing Chattanooga Football Club’s marketing strategy and initiatives. You will assist in developing projects and deliverables, launch and manage advertising campaigns, and build relationships with fans, businesses, and vendors.


  • Project Planning: Actively participate in the planning and targeting of marketing initiatives. Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and perform hands-on and digital analysis to learn about market opportunities and needs.
  • Creative Production: Create innovative print, digital, and video content in a timely manner for advertising, campaigns, and events.
  • Digital Presence: Help build the club's digital presence and leverage social media platforms to engage with fans, provide updates, and promote ticket sales and merchandise. Assist in the maintenance of the club's website, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Fan Engagement: Develop initiatives to enhance fan engagement and loyalty. Organize fan events, competitions, fan clubs, and fan feedback mechanisms to ensure a positive fan experience
  • Merchandise Sales: Assist in the management of merchandise sales through ecommerce, as well as onsite at games and events.
  • Sponsorships: Identify and cultivate sponsorship opportunities with corporate partners and local businesses as you interact in the community. Coordinate with the Partnership Team in securing.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analyze data to understand fan preferences, market trends, and competitors.
  • Administrative Duties: Assist in information gathering, monitoring, tracking, and other duties as requested.
  • Make Recommendations: Proactively identify and offer solutions to challenges and bottlenecks in existing processes. Suggest new processes and marketing projects.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams including Ticketing, Partnerships, Community Relations, and PR and Communications to ensure coordination of efforts and consistency.
  • Assist other teams and staff members as requested and needed to meet organization’s goals.


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing field.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish preferred but not required.
  • 1-2 years of successful marketing/sponsorship experience. Sports or entertainment industry experience a plus.
  • Project management experience. Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment; able to meet deadlines accurately and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of creative production, including video, digital, and print.
  • Graphic design experience preferred.
  • Experience with Google Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external clients at all levels.
  • Willing to work extended hours including games and events in the evening and on weekends.
  • Motivated, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of brand strategy fundamentals.
  • Exceptional work ethic, strong desire to succeed, professionalism, and a passion for the sports industry.
