Huntsville City Football Club Signs Christopher Pearson on Loan from FC Tulsa

Huntsville, Ala. (Aug. 16, 2023) – Huntsville City Football Club announced today the addition of Jamaican midfielder Christopher Pearson on loan from FC Tulsa of the USL Championship through the 2023 season.  

The midfielder initially spent four seasons at Kingston College in Jamaica, where he was named MVP of the Jamaican Schoolboy Football League in 2022 after finishing as its leading goal scorer with nine goals.  

Pearson then played for Cavalier FC in Jamaica’s National Premier League, where he made seven appearances and scored one goal, before moving abroad to the United States.  

The midfielder made his professional debut with FC Tulsa on Sept. 7, 2022, against Louisville City FC and appeared six times with four starts during the 2022 season. In 2023, Pearson has made 16 appearances and four starts. 

At the international level, Pearson was on the roster for Jamaica’s senior squad three times in its final World Cup Qualifying window in March 2022 in matches against El Salvador, Canada, and Honduras. The midfielder has five caps for the Jamaica U-20 side, all coming in the CONCACAF U-20 Championship in June of 2022, captaining the team twice. 

Pearson will be training with the team this Thursday, Aug. 17 at 9 a.m. CT, and will be available to speak to the media following training at 11 a.m. CT.
