Huntsville City FC Earns 4-1 Victory Against Inter Miami II Sunday Night

Huntsville City FC kept its playoff push alive Sunday night with a commanding 4-1 win over Inter Miami II at Wicks Family Field. The result strengthens the Boys in Blue’s bid for a home playoff match as they head into the final weekend of the regular season.

Inter Miami II was reduced to 10 men just five minutes into the match after an early red card, setting the tone for the evening. Despite the advantage, Huntsville had to wait until the second half to break through. Maximus Ekk opened the scoring shortly after the restart, only for Miami to quickly find an equalizer.

The response from Huntsville was immediate. Real Gill restored the lead before Damien Barker John added his name to the scoresheet for the night. Alan Carleton then capped off the performance, slotting home the fourth goal to seal all three points.

With the victory, Huntsville City FC remains in fourth place in the Eastern Conference and looks to carry momentum into Decision Day. The Boys in Blue will close out the regular season at home next Sunday at noon.
