Huntsville City FC falls 2-0 to Atlanta United 2 on Saturday night in the final regular season matchup between the two sides.
Atlanta struck early, scoring twice before halftime to take control of the match. Huntsville was unable to find its rhythm after the break, and Atlanta secured all three points. The result closed out the season series between the Southern rivals. Huntsville entered the match sitting second in the Eastern Conference, while Atlanta began the night in ninth.
The Boys in Blue now turn their attention back home to Wicks Family Field, where they host parent MLS club Nashville SC in the second annual Space Cowboy Match on Wednesday night at 7pm CT.
