Huntsville, Ala. (March 7, 2024) – The Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium will host a number of “Past the Pitch” events throughout 2024, with the schedule of events beginning with “St. Paddy’s at the Pitch” on Sunday, March 17.
Beginning in April, Wicks Family Field will host “The Stadium Series” in partnership with the Church Street Family Restaurant & Hospitality Group, a beverage-themed series of events geared toward craft beverage enthusiasts. Attendees can enjoy the best selection of wine, beer, and spirits during “The Stadium Series”. The Wine Cup will take place on Saturday, April 6; the Beer Cup will happen on Saturday, June 1; and the Spirits Cup will round out the series on Saturday, Oct. 12.
Huntsville City FC season ticket members and Church Street Family Wine Club and Supper Club members will receive a $5 discount on tickets. Tickets for the Wine Cup can be purchased here, while tickets for the Beer and Spirits Cups will go on sale in early April.
Wicks Family Field will host the Tennessee Valley Auto Fest on Friday, Oct. 18 from 12 to 8 p.m. CT, and Saturday, Oct. 19 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT. Huntsville’s newest auto show features custom vehicles from all over the region, famous vehicles from movies, a concert, carnival games, and a special fireworks display. Tickets will be available at a later date.
Returning for its second year, the Huntsville City FC Holiday 5K will once again bring holiday cheer and racing to Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium on Sunday, Dec. 22 at 4 p.m. CT. Racers will get a special HCFC bib and a commemorative Holiday 5K scarf, while everyone can enjoy Holiday fun for the family and a visit from Santa Claus himself. Registration for the race will go on sale at a later date.
