Matchweek 6 of the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season featured a statement road win for North Texas SC, a hat trick from MNUFC2's Carlos Harvey, and another impactful performance from Philadelphia Union II attacker Eddie Davis.

MLS NEXT Pro Team of Matchweek 6: North Texas SC

One week after earning their first home victory of 2024, North Texas SC enjoyed similar success away from home.

John Gall's men defeated Colorado Rapids 2 by a 2-0 scoreline on Sunday, earning MLS NEXT Pro Team of Matchweek 6 honors. Pedro Fonseca's 87th minute penalty-kick goal boosted the visitors in front before Tarik Scott added an insurance goal in second-half stoppage time.

22-year-old Michael Collodi registered a three-save clean sheet in between the posts.

NTX are the only club remaining in the Western Conference that has yet to suffer a regulation loss this season.

MLS NEXT Pro Player of Matchweek 6: Carlos Harvey (MNUFC2)

MNUFC2 used a dominant second-half showing from Carlos Harvey on Sunday night to claim their first regulation win of the season.

Harvey registered a 19-minute hat trick in MNUFC's 4-3 comeback victory over Timbers2 at Providence Park. The 24-year-old Panamanian midfielder struck first from a long-range shot in the 63rd minute before adding a pair of penalty-kick finishes in the 66th and 82nd minutes respectively.

His opening goal proved to be the 100th goal in MNUFC2 history.

Harvey has mainly featured for MNUFC2 following his winter move from Phoenix Rising FC and will aim to continue producing for Jeremy Hall's squad.

MNUFC2 next visits Sporting KC II on Sunday, April 28.

MLS NEXT Rising Star of Matchweek 6: Eddy Davis (Philadelphia Union II)

Eddy Davis has made quite an impact with Philadelphia Union II this spring.

Davis scored his fourth league goal of the season on Sunday as Marlon LeBlanc's squad defeated New York Red Bulls II 4-2 in a shootout. The two teams played out a 1-1 result over 90 minutes before Union II walked away with the extra point.

The 17-year-old Davis has continued to be quite the performer for Union II, leading the team in goals in 2024.
