The 2026 MLS NEXT Pro regular season is officially in the books, and with that come the final Top 10 Power Rankings of the year.
Austin FC II holds on to the top spot after an incredible year, while MNUFC2 and Connecticut United FC finish out the year among the Top 10 thanks to their strong finish.
Here’s a closer look at the final Top 10 Power Rankings for 2026:
Austin FC II wrapped up their regular season with a 2-0 road victory at St Louis CITY2.Â
Erik Lauta kept another clean sheet, while Diego Abarca and Ibrahima Sall scored a goal each.
ATX II will have the first pick in the Pick Your Opponent format after locking down the number one seed in the West with 65 points and earning 19 wins out of a possible 28.
The West undoubtedly runs through Austin.

A comeback victory against FC Cincinnati 2 earned Crown Legacy FC the top seed in the East on Decision Day.Â
Hugo Mbongue and Nathan Richmond scored back-to-back goals to claim the win for CLFC and give their side home-field advantage throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs.
As long as their offense is humming, it'll be tough to take down Crown Legacy FC during the playoffs.

Timbers2 fell to Tacoma Defiance in a shootout in their final regular-season match of the campaign.
The result marked the third consecutive match in which T2 failed to earn a regulation victory, which could raise some concerns heading into the playoffs.
Still, a 12-match unbeaten run is nothing to sneeze at.
The question now is whether Timbers2 can carry that momentum into the MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs and keep the streak alive when the pressure is on.

Chattanooga FC took care of business on the road against Chicago Fire II but still fell just short of claiming the number one seed in the Eastern Conference.
But thanks to their efforts (and their four-game winning streak), they will now host an MLS NEXT Pro playoff match for the first time in club history.
Finley Stadium should be rocking as Chattanooga looks to turn home-field advantage into a deep run toward the MLS NEXT Pro Cup.

Ventura County FC lost on the road to a resilient Real Monarchs side that was looking to end their season on a high note.Â
Even with the loss, VCFC can be proud of their regular season play as Matt Taylor and company will now get to host a playoff match after finishing third in the Western Conference.

For the first time in MLS NEXT Pro history, one club finished the regular season with both the Golden Boot winner and Playmaker of the Year, as Arif Kovac (20 goals) and Cameron Dunbar (13 assists) claimed the honors following Decision Day.
The pair helped lead Atlanta United 2 to a third-place finish in the Eastern Conference, closing out the regular season with a 4-2 win over Orlando City B.

For much of the regular season, Houston Dynamo 2 looked like a prime candidate to claim the number one seed in the Western Conference, but they closed out the campaign with just one win in their final five outings.
They still did enough to secure a home playoff match and will get a boost to their back line with the return of shot-stopper Pedro Cruz, whose loan spell ended this week.

MNUFC2 make a buzzer-beater appearance in the Top 10 Power Rankings thanks to a seven-match unbeaten streak to close out the regular season.
The Twoons earned a 3-2 comeback win against LAFC2 on Decision Day to climb into fifth place in the Western Conference and secure their spot in the MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs.
Now, they’ll look to make another dark-horse run similar to 2025, when they made it all the way to the Western Conference Final.

Last week, we noted that New England Revolution II had not lost to TFC II since 2022, and after their 3-1 victory this past weekend, that streak will now carry into 2027.
Myles Morgan led the way for Revs II, opening the scoring just before halftime.
Javaun Mussenden and Damario McIntosh got on the board in the second half to help secure the win.
Revs II finished fifth in the Eastern Conference and will now await their opponent for the opening round of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs.

What a way to close out an inaugural regular season!
Connecticut United FC put seven goals past Inter Miami II to earn their 14th win of 2026.
Bryan Destin and Barnabás Tanyi each notched a hat trick, while Daniel D’Ippolito added a stoppage-time goal as the cherry on top of a dominant victory.
With the win, CT United avoided the Eastern Conference Play-In Game and will now wait to see who they’ll face in the first playoff match in club history.
