Arnaud Tattevin was named the MLS Next Pro July Player of the Month, being recognized for his elite finishing and leading Carolina Core FC's attack this season.
Tattevin netted six goals across five matches in the month of July. He capped off his impressive month with his best performance of the season against Atlanta United 2 on July 31. He scored a hat trick that was highlighted by an appearance on SportsCenter Top 10. He flicked the ball over his defender to net a goal in the top right corner from the edge of the penalty area for his second score of the match.
Tattevin recorded his first goal of the month back on July 5 against CT United FC. He followed that performance by netting a penalty kick against Chattanooga FC on July 12 and his third score against Chicago Fire FC II on the 25th.
While he dominated throughout a whole calendar month, Tattevin moved into a tie for the second most goals in the league with 12. His mark trails the league lead by only three goals.
Tattevin has skyrocketed as The Core's leading scorer. He leads the rest of the squad by nine goals and has not shied away from his opportunities in front of the goal, also leading the team with 54 shots and 29 on target. He looks to continue building off a strong month and climb the scoring leaderboard with six matches remaining for Carolina.
