CFC back in action on Friday, June 12 for Girls and Women in Sports Night as part of our Summer of Soccer
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (June 7, 2026) — Chattanooga FC fell to Georgia Impact 1-0 in a rainy contest on Sunday afternoon at Finley Stadium.
EG Dillard had a chance for CFC early in the fourth minute, but her shot was deflected just wide. Kei Yoneda had a long distance free-kick tipped over the bar by Impact keeper Charlee Bernal. Bernal also made a save from a fiercely-hit shot by Annick Manga Zouma minutes later.
The two sides were evenly matched through the first 45 minutes, with both Chattanooga and Impact taking three shots each. Neither club broke the deadlock, sending the match into the break goalless.
Chattanooga had a handful of chances from Tori Soutuyo and Manga Zouma early in the second half, but the Scenic City was unable to strike first.
Georgia Impact's Grace Eatz found the back of the net to put the visitors up 1-0 in the 58th minute, heading in a cross sent in by Callie O'Connor.
Impact continued to threaten CFC's goal late in the second half, but goalkeeper Ashton Blair stepped up to make several crucial saves and keep Chattanooga within reach.
CFC was ultimately held scoreless at the end of the night by the Southeast Conference leaders.
"I like how we are approaching the game, how we are creating chances; it's just about the little details in front of goal," said Head Coach Majo Harispuru. "I'm super proud of how we played. It's important to us that whenever we show up to play, you see a style of play and the intention and quality with the ball."
Chattanooga FC will remain at home for its next two matches, hosting 865 Alliance at 6 p.m. ET on June 12 for Girls and Women in Sports Night. Tickets are on sale now.
