Doing it in style also leaves an impression, and captain Alex Monis checked that box for the expansion side as well.
Monis, no stranger to MLS NEXT Pro with his years as a member of Chicago Fire FC II, won 52% of the fan vote on Instagram.
Philadelphia Union II's Malik Jakupovic was the runner-up taking 38%. Nimfasha Berchimas and Shakur Mohammed of Crown Legacy FC and Hunstville City FC trailed with 5% apiece.
