George Marks' INSANE quadruple save wins 2025 Save of the Year

In a tie game, every save matters, and goalkeepers have to be as close to perfect as humanly possible.

Crown Legacy FC can thank former goalkeeper George Marks for saving points and more when they tied Atlanta United 2 in an action-packed 2-2 draw (plus shootout win) in May. His late heroics earn MLS NEXT Pro’s 2025 Save of the Year.

Marks, now a member of the Philadelphia Union, took it to a new level with a quadruple save in stoppage time to keep the game level. With a golden opportunity to steal a road win at the death, ATL UTD 2 peppered Marks’ goal with four shots in the span of 11 seconds.

Coming up clutch again, Marks made a huge stop in the ensuing shootout to earn CLFC a valuable extra point.

A member of Charlotte FC since their MLS expansion season in 2022, Marks and the club parted ways in August, and he was quickly signed by the 2025 Supporters' Shield champion Philadelphia Union for the remainder of the year.
