HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Aug. 8, 2026) – Huntsville City FC fell 2-0 to Carolina Core FC on Saturday night.
Carolina Core took an early lead with a goal from C. Orbaugh in the fifth minute before T. Raimbault doubled the advantage in the 44th minute.
The loss marks the third meeting between the two sides this season. Huntsville City FC earned a 3-0 victory in the first matchup, while Carolina Core secured a 1-0 win in the second meeting.
The Boys in Blue will look to bounce back Wednesday, Aug. 12, when they welcome Crown Legacy FC to Wicks Family Field for a 7 p.m. kickoff. Fans can enjoy $2 hot dogs and $5 draft beers throughout the match.
