(May 17, 2025) – Huntsville City FC came up short in a 2-1 battle against Chattanooga FC on Saturday night. After a scoreless first half, both sides found the net in a fast-paced second frame, but it was the away team who ultimately secured all three points.
Midfielder Alan Carleton gave Huntsville a lifeline in the second half with an assist from Real Gill, putting one on the board for the Boys in Blue. The shots on goal from the first half came from Tyshawn Rose, Phillip Mayaka, and Real Gill. Chattanooga responded with a first and second goal to retake the lead late in the match.
Despite the pressure and late opportunities, Huntsville couldn't find another breakthrough, and the match ended 2-1 in favor of Chattanooga.
