HUNTSVILLE CITY FC FALLS 2-1 TO ORLANDO CITY B SATURDAY NIGHT

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (June 13, 2026) - Huntsville City FC fell 2–1 to Orlando City B on Saturday night at Wicks Family Field in the second meeting between the two sides this season. Huntsville City FC claimed the first matchup earlier this year with a 3–1 victory.

Entering the match, Orlando City B sat fourth in the Eastern Conference standings while Huntsville City FC occupied ninth place.

The opening half featured a hard-fought battle between the two clubs, with neither side able to break through until just before halftime. Julian Gaines opened the scoring in the 45th minute, finding the back of the net for his third goal of the season and giving the Boys in Blue a 1–0 lead heading into the break.

Orlando City B responded in the second half, leveling the match in the 55th minute before adding the game-winning goal in the 77th minute to complete the comeback victory.

Despite creating opportunities throughout the match, Huntsville City FC was unable to find an equalizer as Orlando City B secured all three points.

Huntsville City FC now turns its attention to First Responders Night on June 20th as the Boys in Blue welcome Crown Legacy FC to Wicks Family Field for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff.
