HUNTSVILLE CITY FC SECURES DOMINANT 4-0 VICTORY OVER FC CINCINNATI 2 ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (May 13, 2026) - Huntsville City FC secured a dominant 4–0 victory over FC Cincinnati 2 on Wednesday night at Wicks Family Field, extending the club’s winning streak to four matches in the first meeting between the two sides this season. 

Huntsville City FC wasted little time taking control of the match, breaking through in the 14th minute as Maximus Ekk opened the scoring off an assist from Leo Christiano to give the Boys in Blue an early 1–0 advantage. Huntsville remained aggressive throughout the opening half, controlling possession and limiting opportunities for FC Cincinnati 2 heading into the break. 

The Boys in Blue carried momentum into the second half and continued to apply pressure in the attacking third. Leo Christiano added to the lead in the 57th minute, finding the back of the net after an active performance throughout the night to make it 2–0. 

Just moments later, Maximus Ekk struck again to secure his brace on the evening, extending Huntsville City FC’s advantage to 3–0 while bringing his season total to eight goals. Huntsville continued to push forward late in the match, and Malachi Molina capped off the dominant performance with a fourth goal to seal the 4–0 result at home. 

Defensively, Huntsville City FC remained composed throughout the night behind another strong performance from goalkeeper Will Mackay, who secured his fifth clean sheet of the season as the back line kept FC Cincinnati 2 off the scoresheet. 

Huntsville City FC now turns its attention to Saturday night as the Boys in Blue return to Wicks Family Field for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff against Atlanta United 2 during Kids Night.
