HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Aug. 17, 2025) Huntsville City FC battled to win 2-1 against New York City FC II on Sunday Night at Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium.
New York City FC II struck first in the opening half Sunday night, but Alioune Ka answered with his first goal for Huntsville City FC to bring the match level before halftime.
The score remained tied until stoppage time, when Isaiah Jones netted the winner in the 94th minute with a first goal contribution from Pep Casas.
The Boys in Blue extended their unbeaten streak to six matches with the result. Huntsville entered the match in fourth place in the Eastern Conference and moved to second by the end of the matchup. They will look to continue to keep the momentum going on August 23rd against rivals, Chattanooga FC.
