Here is a closer look at the latest group of familiar faces in new places for 2024:

Kamron Habibullah - Sporting KC II

Another 2023 MLS NEXT Pro debutant has shifted scenes for 2024.

Kamron Habibullah joined Sporting KC II on a one-year deal after delivering a positive season last year. The 20-year-old scored four goals and added three assists for Whitecaps FC 2, earning valuable experience.

A Canadian youth national team player, Habibullah joins fellow offseason signing and former Houston Dynamo 2 player Beto Avila in the SKC II attack.

Abraham Rodriguez - Toronto FC II

Toronto FC II will have a new face manning the posts in 2024.

Abraham Rodriguez signed with the Canadian club on a one-year deal. Rodriguez, 21, made 27 combined appearances over the last two seasons with Colorado Rapids 2.

He brings valuable experience to Gianni Cimini’s squad.

Alec Diaz - Colorado Rapids 2

Colorado Rapids 2 received a major attacking boost for the upcoming season.

Puerto Rican international Alec Diaz signed with Rapids 2, committing his future for the 2024 campaign. Diaz, a former Seattle Sounders academy player, netted seven goals in 32 appearances with Toronto FC II over 2022-23.

Rapids 2 lost the services of Remi Cabral and Yosuke Hanya, but now have Diaz as an option to fill the gap.

Christopher Pearson - Columbus Crew 2

Jamaican international Christopher Pearson became the newest member of the Columbus Crew 2 roster.

The 21-year-old midfielder spent part of the 2023 season with Huntsville City FC, in addition to a spell with FC Tulsa in the USL Championship. Pearson will fight for minutes immediately as Crew 2 aims to reach a third-straight MLS NEXT Pro Cup.
