HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Sep. 9, 2026) - Huntsville City FC announced today the signing of midfielder Landry Walker on a hybrid deal for the remainder of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season and the 2027-28 season.
Nashville SC acquired Walker’s Homegrown rights from Austin FC, allowing him to join Huntsville City FC.
Walker, a 17-year-old defensive midfielder, is a product of the San Antonio FC Academy. Walker has been part of San Antonio FC’s first team for the third consecutive season after making his professional debut at 15 years old against FC Tulsa in June 2024, becoming the fifth-youngest player in USL Championship history. He went on to log 328 minutes in 10 matches across all competitions in 2025 and became the youngest starter in club history with his first USL Championship start against Lexington SC on Aug. 16.
Walker has also represented the United States at the U-15 and U-17 levels. Most recently, he appeared in all three matches at the Concacaf U-17 Championship, helping the U.S. qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar this November.
