It’s two matchday honors in one week for St Louis CITY2 midfielder Faysal Bettache after his third goal against Houston Dynamo 2 was voted the MLS NEXT Pro Goal of Matchday 25.
Bettache’s goal won 66% of the poll vote, with Sporting KC II’s Ethan Bryant coming in second place earning 21% of the total vote.
Bettache earned Player of Matchday 25 honors after scoring a hat-trick during CITY2’s victory over Houston Dynamo 2. His third goal of the night took place right after halftime when he placed a beautiful struck ball into the top left corner of the goal.
With the victory, St Louis CITY2 inched closer to securing a playoff spot in the Western Conference and will look to earn its fourth consecutive victory when they visit Whitecaps FC 2 during Matchday 26 action.
