This one had it all.
An opener from midfielder Omar Marquez started the fun on Saturday. Timbers2 responded in the 31st minute to make things interesting for halftime.
Then in the second frame, Real Monarchs opened the floodgates after a 58th-minute T2 red card gave them a man advantage.
A sentimental moment for veteran defender Wes Charpie gave them the lead, and Kobi Henry and Lineker Rodrigues fed off the energy to rack up a couple more.
Charpie's moment marked a heroic send-off as he scored with his last touch for the Monarchs.

Every minute of the remaining Carolina Core FC season is high-leverage.
Chasing down the Eastern Conference playoff line, the Foxes made a statement with their 2-0 win over Crown Legacy FC.
Knocking both goals in, Tattevin came up clutch with two Goal of the Matchweek-worthy strikes in the second half, putting two past CLFC for the second time this season.
The brace brings Tattevin's season tally to six, extending his lead atop CCFC's scoresheet.
Tattevin, 26, joined CCFC from USL League Two, where he helped them win the National Championship. Prior to that, the native Parisian played at several ranks in France, including stops at Paris FC and the Rennes second team.

The Chicago Fire FC Academy celebrated a special moment in Matchweek 15.
For Chicago Fire FC II, 16-year-old prospect Napoe scored his first professional goal, adding insurance to a 3-1 win over Inter Miami II.
Subbing in just after Miami II clawed back to make it 2-1, Napoe's account opener threw a wet blanket on the comeback effort when he found a little space at the center of the box.
So far in 2026, Napoe has registered 336 minutes across 10 appearances for Fire II in MLS NEXT Pro.
