Making his mark in the league's newest rivalry matchup, Camilo Ponce's brace sealed the win as New York City FC II topped CT United 4-1.
In the 68th minute, he picked up the ball in stride and made the most of the space he had at the top of the box to rifle in the dagger to put the game out of reach.
The wonderstike opened his 2026 account in style and earned the Goal of the Matchweek nod.
Ponce took 37% of the vote for this week's honor, beating out Red Bull New York II's Dennish Nelich (337%), Chicago Fire II's Damyan Villanueva (28%), and Alex McGrath of Chattanooga FC (3%).
