HIGH POINT, N.C. (April 10, 2026) — Carolina Core FC has signed Jake Davis as the club’s new Goalkeeper Coach. Davis joins the Foxes’ technical staff with an extensive pedigree in North American professional soccer and international youth development.
Davis spent the previous two seasons with Canadian Premier League side Cavalry FC, where he served as Head of Goalkeeping and Head of Analysis. Davis was a key part of the staff that secured the CPL Shield in 2023 and the North Star Cup in 2024.
“Jake’s expertise in goalkeeping and tactical analysis makes him an invaluable addition to our staff,” said Head Coach Donovan Ricketts. “His experience winning titles and competing at the highest levels of CONCACAF will immediately elevate our daily training environment.”
On the international stage, Davis has worked extensively with Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Youth Teams. His experience includes coaching the U15, U16, and U20 age groups through various Concacaf Championships and World Cup Qualifying cycles. Prior to his time in Canada, Davis held coaching roles with the University of Virginia, Hartford Athletic, and the Houston Dynamo Academy.
