Huntsville City FC Falls 3-2 Against Atlanta United 2

Huntsville, Ala. (May 18, 2024) – Huntsville City Football Club fell 3-2 to Atlanta United 2 at Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium despite Foster Ajago's brace in his return from injury.

Atlanta got on the board first through Javier Armas, and then doubled its lead following a Miles Hadley goal. Huntsville trimmed the lead in the 66th minute when Jony Bolaños’ cross found substitute Forster Ajago, who finished off the chance for his first goal of the season.

Karim Tmimi extended Atlanta’s lead back to two, but the Boys in Blue immediately got one back when Fernando Ciceron’s cross found Ajago again, who fired the ball into the top of the net for his second goal of the night.

Huntsville City FC will be back in action next Sunday, May 26 at 5 p.m. CT at Orlando City B. The match can be seen on MLS Season Pass on AppleTV, while Huntsvillians can attend the club’s official watch party at Yellowhammer Brewing.
