Another exciting week of MLS NEXT Pro action is in the books, and with it came results that shook up the weekly power rankings.

St. Louis CITY2 kept rolling with five points from a two-game Matchweek, Red Bulls II took down Union II in a top-of-the-table showdown, and Huntsville City quietly climbed into the East’s top three.

Here’s how it all stacks up in this week’s edition of the MLS NEXT Pro power rankings.

The good times keep rolling in St. Louis.

CITY2 just wrapped up a two-game matchweek with five of six points in the bag, stretching their cushion atop the West to a comfortable 11 points.

Can anyone stop the CITY2 juggernaut out West?

Union II took a tumble after a 2-0 defeat to Red Bulls II, making it two losses in their last three.

With CJ Olney, David Vazquez, and Cavan Sullivan (absent from Union II since July 13) out of the picture, who’s going to step up and flip the switch back on?

July tested Michael Bradley’s Red Bulls II, but their 2-0 win over Union II was a reminder of what happens when they press the gas.

Now atop the Eastern Conference table with seven games left to go, the mission is simple: stay in gear and roll that momentum straight into the postseason.

A stoppage-time strike from Julian Donnery delivered three points at home and stretched TTFC’s unbeaten run to seven matches.

Dan DeGeer’s side now has a shot at climbing to second place in the West if they can knock Ventura County FC off their perch this week.

Fire II rolls into this week’s clash with Union II, riding a four-match unbeaten streak and ready to test themselves against one of the East’s elite. A win would certainly put the conference on notice.

Claudio Cassano has been the creative engine of the side and could make history this week by claiming MLS NEXT Pro’s regular-season assists record.

Is it just me, or is Huntsville City FC still flying under the radar despite churning out quality performances week after week?

Four straight wins have lifted them to third in the East and within striking distance of the top two spots.

Chris O’Neal and company will aim to make it five in a row when they hit the road this week against an Inter Miami II side that's always ready for a fight.

Cool as the Rocky Mountains, Rapids 2 kept their form rolling with a hard-earned point against league leaders St Louis CITY2, stretching their unbeaten streak to five.

Sitting fourth in the West, a home playoff match is still very much within reach for Erik Bushey’s side.

Chattanooga FC’s hot start to 2025 feels like a distant memory as they remain winless since the end of May.

With seven games left in the regular season, the question is whether they can rediscover their early-season form before it’s too late.

VCFC let a 2-0 halftime lead get away and had to settle for two points in a shootout win against Timbers2.

They’re still holding on to second place in the West, but if Matt Taylor’s group can tighten things up at the back, they could be even tougher to face when playoff time arrives.

Revs II slipped down a spot in the rankings after a shootout win over Crew 2.

They remain in a solid position in the East, but we’re about to find out what this New England Revolution II side is made of as they enter a three-game gauntlet against three of the top four teams in the conference.
