It was a wild July 4th weekend for MLS NEXT Pro with several results that shook up the rankings.
Austin FC II and Houston Dynamo 2 continue to dominate out west while Columbus Crew 2 and Crown Legacy FC jockey for the number one spot in the West.
Let’s take a look at how this week’s Top 10 Power Rankings have shaken out after Matchweek 18.
The good times keep rolling in the Texas capital, as Austin FC II extended their league-record winning streak to 10 consecutive matches after a 3-2 win over Colorado Rapids 2.
A second-half brace from Stefan Dobrijevic, paired with two assists from Kenan Hot, powered the ATX II to another victory.
Jason Shackell's side now turns its attention to MNUFC2, the only team to defeat Austin FC II this year.

Houston Dynamo 2 returned to their winning ways this weekend with a dominant 4-0 home victory over MNUFC2.
Four different players scored for Dynamo 2, with Austin Brummett capping off the win with his eighth goal of the season.
Defensively, 18-year-old center back Isaac Mwakutuya helped anchor a clean sheet and recorded an assist in an all-around performance.
Dynamo 2 will look to build on the win against MNUFC2 when they remain at home to face St Louis CITY2 on Saturday.

A second consecutive draw resulted in another shootout victory for Crown Legacy FC.
Nimfasha Berchimas scored CLFC's lone goal of the match, bringing his season total to eight as he continues to lead the club's attack.
The extra point keeps CLFC tied for first place in the Eastern Conference, but Kevin Sawchak's side has managed just one regulation victory in its last five matches.

Columbus Crew 2 will have some extra time to recover after rescuing a late draw in Matchweek 17.
Crew 2 now turn their attention to a midweek road trip next week against New England Revolution II.

RBNY II had their two-game winning streak snapped in Matchweek 18 but still walked away with a point on the road against FC Cincinnati 2.
Red Bull II jumped out to an early two-goal lead, but a couple of defensive mistakes allowed FCC2 to mount a second-half comeback before taking the extra point in the shootout.
A trip to the Windy City is next for RBNY II, where they’ll look to bounce back against Chicago Fire II.

Timbers2 claimed Cascadia bragging rights over the weekend with a 2-0 road victory over Tacoma Defiance.
Eric Zoita was the standout, knocking in a goal and creating four chances, marking his second consecutive match with a goal and bringing his season total to three.
The victory lifted Timbers2 into third place in the Western Conference standings with 32 points.

Orlando City B picked up a point in a shootout loss to Crown Legacy FC, marking its second consecutive draw.
OCB found the equalizer in the second half but couldn't find a winner in a back-and-forth game.
Orlando City B will now travel to face FC Cincinnati 2 as it looks to snap a three-match winless streak and earn its first victory in four games.

It was a rough outing for Pablo Moreira's side as New England Revolution II fell 4-0 to Philadelphia Union II over the weekend.
Despite controlling nearly 70 percent of the possession and firing off more than 30 shots, Revs II couldn't find a breakthrough while allowing four goals at the other end.
Things won't get any easier this matchweek, as a Columbus Crew 2 side riding a seven-match unbeaten streak comes to town.

St Louis CITY2 suffered its third consecutive loss in Matchweek 18 after falling 3-0 to North Texas SC this past Saturday.
This marked that CITY2 has lost three consecutive games in a single season since July of 2024.
David Critchley and Co. will now face Houston Dynamo 2, the team that handed them their first loss of the 2026 season back in May.

Welcome back, Chattanooga FC!
CFC is back in the Top 10 Power Rankings after earning a 1-0 road victory over Inter Miami II.
Alex Krehl scored his 10th goal of the campaign to earn his side the victory.
With the win, Chattanooga FC extended its unbeaten streak to five matches and climbed into fourth place in the Eastern Conference.
