The club has partnered with the Children's Hospital at Erlanger to raise awareness for Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month.
Timmy had a soccer ball at his feet as early as he can remember.
His father played in high school and passed on his love of the game to his son.
In April of this year, Timmy was diagnosed with Stage 3 Burkitt lymphoma, a rare and fast-growing cancer, and he had to immediately undergo intensive chemotherapy treatment.
Throughout his journey with cancer, Timmy showed incredible faith and strength, which anchored his family during all the adversity.
"My mom was crying, and I told her, 'It's going to be ok. God's going to protect us. He's going to get us through this.' The first person we met was a sweet little kid next door [in the oncology unit]. It was very impactful to know I had made some new friends in the hospital."
"I've had a lot of hard times that God has got me through. The devil's struck one, twice, three times... he's out!"
Chattanooga FC recently worked with the Children's Hospital at Erlanger, who helped identify Timmy to participate in the club's "Contract for a Day" initiative.
Timmy joined the club's MLS NEXT Pro team this week to get a unique look at what life is like for professionals playing his favorite sport.
His day began at the club's headquarters and with the team for a video analysis session before heading out to the training ground, where he observed various drills and exercises.
The day concluded with Timmy signing a professional contract for the day and being introduced to media and staff.
"It was fun and exciting," said Timmy. "Now we have the contract in a frame, which is fun to have as a remembrance of my time there. It's a great reminder to pass my story down through to other youth."
Timmy will be recognized, along with other pediatric cancer patients and survivors, at CFC's final home regular season match on Sunday, September 13 at 3:00 p.m. at Finley Stadium in a match presented by Erlanger.
