It’s been a spectacular season for the boys from Rose City.
Timbers2 earned their best regular-season finish in club history, collecting 57 points and finishing second in the Western Conference with a 14W-10D-4L record.
After defeating St Louis CITY2 in front of their home crowd, Timbers2 will face Ventura County FC on Sunday, October 25 at 10 PM ET.
Ventura County FC was one of the few teams Timbers2 failed to beat this season, making for an interesting semifinal matchup.
Season series
This will be the fourth meeting between Timbers2 and Ventura County FC in 2026. No team earned a regulation victory, with all three of their matches heading to a shootout.
Player spotlight
It’s tough to highlight just one player on a Timbers2 side loaded with talent.
Nicklas Lund, Sam Joseph, and Eric Izoita all earned 2026 MLS NEXT Pro Best XI honors for their outstanding play this season.
But T2’s success has been a team effort, with Daniel Cervantes contributing 11 goals, Noah Santos adding four, and Lucas Hernandez-Kim chipping in four assists.
That depth has been one of Timbers2’s biggest strengths all season and could prove even more valuable come playoff time.
