Carolina Core FC returns to Truist Point Stadium riding the momentum of a dramatic comeback and penalty shootout victory over Atlanta United 2. The Foxes erased a two-goal deficit behind Arnaud Tattevin's hat trick before prevailing in the shootout to earn two points. Now, The Core turns its attention to Huntsville City FC with an opportunity to take the season series lead after the clubs split their first two meetings, including a 1-0 Carolina Core victory earlier this season. Back on home turf, the Foxes will look to carry their recent momentum into another strong performance in front of their supporters.

Arnaud Tattevin put up one of the best performances of the MLS Next Pro season against Atlanta United 2 on Friday. Tattevin was named Player of the Week behind his hat trick. His trio of goals moved him into a tie for the second most goals in the league, trailing first by three. Within his outstanding match, Tattevin also made an appearance on the SportsCenter Top 10 with an impressive flick over a defender and a goal off the far post from outside the penalty area.

8 - Limiting the Long Shot

One area to watch will be Huntsville's ability to create chances from distance. Ranked second in MLS NEXT Pro in shots from outside the penalty area with eight, Huntsville frequently looks to challenge opposing defenses from long range. The Foxes will rely on goalkeeper Nick Holliday and a disciplined backline to keep those attempts in check while capitalizing on transition opportunities.

The Foxes have come out of the halftime gate swinging throughout the season. They have scored five goals within the first five minutes of the second half, the most out of any five minute stretch during regulation. Tattevin added to that total on Friday, completing his hat trick in the 50th minute to tie the match 3-3.
