Down 4-0 late, against a regional rival, someone needed to step up.
Inter Miami CF II midfielder Alejando Flores did just that with an absolute golazo to avoid taking a clean sheet against Atlanta United 2 in Matchweek 19.
The IMCF Academy product didn't mind being well-covered at the top of the box, finding just enough space to fire in the consolation goal with emphasis.
Flores joins teammate Idoh Zeltzer-Zubida as the second Inter Miami II player to take Goal of the Matchweek honors this season.
Flores took 44% of the vote for this week's honor, beating out Real Monarchs' Jesus Barea (36%), Tacoma Defiance's Xavi Gnulati (13%), and Reese Miller of Houston Dynamo 2 (7%).
