New England Revolution II (0) - NY Red Bulls II (1)

New England Revolution II's struggles continued on Friday night as they suffered a 1-0 home defeat to New York Red Bulls II, failing to score for the second consecutive game.

Revs II started off their 2023 campaign red hot winning their first three games while racking up ten goals.

The hosts had an opportunity to take the lead early but Brandonn Bueno missed a penalty in the 19th minute. NY Red Bulls II’s Oladayo Thomas scored from the spot in the 75th minute to secure the win for the visitors and his first professional goal.

Clint Peay’s men will look to bounce back when they host FC Cincinnati next week. New York Red Bulls II will travel to face Chicago Fire II in the Windy City and look to continue to climb the Eastern Conference standings.

North Texas SC (0) vs Real Monarchs (1)

Real Monarchs earned their second win of the 2023 Season with a stoppage-time free-kick stunner from Moses Nyeman against North Texas SC.

The match saw Antonio Herrera, the North Texas SC keeper, make six saves to keep the home side in the game. However, a foul near the 18-yard-box by Amet Korça gave Nyeman the chance to score the winner.

Nyeman's wonder-strike was Real Monarch's second goal of the season.

Javier Cano’s side will aim to recover from Friday's loss when they travel to face Colorado Rapids 2 during Matchday 6.

Real Monarchs will host Timbers2 at Zions Bank Stadium on April 30th and attempt to earn their first home win of the season.
