New York Red Bulls II have been named the Team of Matchday 11 following their impressive 4-1 victory over New England Revolution II, which ended the latter's four-game winning streak.

After a Matchday 10 that saw them play two away matches, a win in Huntsville, and a narrow 3-2 loss against Orlando City B, New York Red Bulls II returned home determined to bounce back against the formidable MLS NEXT Pro Team of the Month for May New England Revolution II.

Red Bull academy product, Julian Hall, spearheaded the team's attack by scoring his first professional goal in the 4th minute and later providing an assist.

At 15 years old, Julian Hall's goal etched his name in Red Bulls II lore, making him the youngest goal scorer ever in the team's history.

Although New England Revolution II quickly equalized, Red Bulls II intensified their pressure and continued to create chances in the attacking third.

Oladayo Thomas found the back of the net in the 39th minute, followed by a Ronald Donkor goal just before halftime, giving Red Bulls II a commanding 3-1 lead at the break.

In the 71st minute, Ibrahim Kasule added another goal, extending his scoring streak to three consecutive matches.

On the defensive end, Red Bulls II goalkeeper A.J. Marcucci made two crucial saves in the second half to keep New England Revolution II at bay and earn his side the three points.

With the victory against New England Revolution II, Ibrahim Sekagya's squad now occupies the third position in the Eastern Conference with 23 points, and have now won four out of their last five matches.

As they look ahead to Matchday 12, New York Red Bulls II will now prepare MLS NEXT Pro's rendition of the New York Derby, where they will square off against NYCFC II.
