An instant-impact golazo is quite a way to open a professional account, and that's what NYCFC II midfielder David Duque did to win Goal of Matchweek 8.
Coming on in the 81st minute with his side getting blanked by Toronto FC II, it only took Duque 10 minutes to find daylight to get his side on the board.
When a loose, looping ball drifted his way, the 19-year-old hammered home the volley for his first-ever at the pro level.
Duque earned 54% of the vote for this week's honor, beating out Carlina Core FC's Arnaud Tattevin (35%), and Philadelphia Union II's Stas Korzeniowski (7%) and Eddy Davis (4%).
