The versatile skillset of Jonny Lopez continues to pay dividends in New York City FC II's playoff push.
Starting both games in a six-point matchweek, Lopez got the big week going with an absolute golazo in NYCFC II's 5-0 win over FC Cincinnati 2, taking his first Goal of the Matchweek honor.
The wonder strike brings the 19-year-old defender's season tally to 2g/1a across 13 MLS NEXT Pro appearances this season.
Lopez took 46% of the vote for this week's honor, beating out teammate Camilo Ponce (21%), CT United's Barnbás Tanyi (19%), and Stefan Chirila (18%).
