Preview: Chattanooga FC vs Philadelphia Union II

Chattanooga FC hosts Philadelphia Union II at Finley Stadium on Saturday, July 25 at 7:00 p.m. for Ride Your Bike Night as our Summer of Soccer concludes.

Chattanooga FC will look to extend its seven-match unbeaten streak when Philadelphia Union II visit Finley Stadium on Saturday evening.

Last time out, CFC came from behind to draw with Orlando City B 1-1 before losing the shootout for the extra point.

Steeve Louis Jean scored his first goal of the season to rescue a point for the Boys in Blue.

The team sits in fourth place in the 16-team Eastern Conference with a 8W-5L-6D (4SOW) record and 34 points.

This will be the clubs' only meeting during the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro regular season. The teams have met three previous times with Philadelphia having the head-to-head edge with 1W-2D-0L, 2SOW.

The most recent meeting took place last summer on July 13 in a six-goal thriller.

Coach's corner

Interim Head Coach Richard Dixon previewed the upcoming match with Philadelphia.

"We're at a point right now where we've seen most of these teams enough through scouting and watching them play opponents we've played in the past," said Dixon. "This is our first time playing Philadelphia this season, so we've been shoring up what we do well and making sure our guys have clarity on roles and responsibilities both in and out of possession. We want our guys confident going into each and every match so that's been our focus."
