Chattanooga FC completed the 2026 Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) season with a winning record of 4W-1D-3L to finish in fifth place in the highly-compeititive Southeast Conference.
The club set a new attendance record for its WPSL team when 1,982 came to support the team in a 1-0 victory over 865 Alliance.
The team continues to leave its legacy in the community by giving CFC Youth players consistent playing opportunities in the WPSL. Local CFC Youth players like Charlotte Reynolds, Ayanna Hamler, Kayden Mounce, Kloe Reeves, Hannah Helms, Regina Campa, Saylor Schalk and Ryleigh Ramey were all integrated in the first team training and playing environment.
The club also hosted an open community training session for several CFC Youth teams during the season.
Match summaries
Chattanooga opened its campaign with a gritty 1-0 win away to 865 Alliance in Greater Knoxville thanks to a second-half goal from Annick Manga Zouma, who ultimately finished as the team's top scorer (3). The victory was significant as CFC inflicted the first defeat over 865 Alliance since the Knoxville club's inaugural season in the league in 2023.
Chattanooga FC then visited Tennessee Tempo in Murfreesboro and had to come from behind to rescue a point in a 1-1 draw, which saw the club go top of the WPSL Southeast Conference momentarily.
The club's home opener took place on a rainy Sunday afternoon at Finley Stadium and ultimately fell narrowly 1-0 to eventual conference champions Georgia Impact.
CFC bounced back from that setback with another 1-0 win over 865 Alliance in front of a CFC Women club record attendance of 1,982 at Fort Finley.
Four days later, CFC fell to in-state side Nashville Rhythm FC 2-0 before travelling to Decatur FC and falling 4-1.
The team finished the season on a high with two victories, first a 2-0 away win at UFA Gunners followed by a decisive 2-1 victory over Atlanta Fire United FC to cap off the campaign.

Coach's corner
Head Coach Majo Harispuru took charge of her first full season in the No1 role and reflected on the campaign as a whole.
"It was a season of growth for everyone, which is positive," said Harispuru. "I'm super happy with how we built the team, with everyone's commitment and how quickly we were able to become a team and family. We showed little by little what we wanted to on the field. I was clear from the start that we would be a team that wants to be smart with the ball and that showed in games. Then things can happen in games and that's the beauty of it all and that's why we're all here addicted to it. There are many weird things and outcomes that happen. We will try to control those next season as much as we can, but overall I'm super happy with the performance, the outcome and with everyone we had."
