"Federico is an incredibly technical player that will create many opportunities for our team in the attacking third. We are looking forward to him joining the squad and continuing his development," says Roy Lassiter, Head Coach.

In 2019, Federico joined Weston FC’s Developmental Academy in South Florida. Weston FC was designated as one of the nation’s top youth clubs in 2020 and became a founding Member of MLS NEXT Elite Program. Stachuk developed under the club’s leadership until 2022.

Following Stachuk’s success with Weston FC, the forward transitioned to playing with Club Atletico Banfield’s U-20 squad in 2022. In his first season with the club, Stachuk made 17 appearances (7 starts), recording 5 goals and 7 assists. Stachuk continued his momentum recording 2 goals and 3 assists the following season.

"Federico's experience in Argentina sets him up to do well in MLS NEXT Pro. He's comfortable with the ball, makes good decisions in possession and gets after defenders in the press. We also like his willingness to attack 1v1 and the fact that he always figures out a way to be in the right place at the right time in the box," states Eddie Pope, Chief Sporting Officer.

Stachuk holds a US Passport and will join Carolina Core FC in their inaugural season with MLS NEXT Pro this coming spring. His vision and decisiveness will be instumental to the success of the club. Carolina Core FC will play their home matches at Truist Point Stadium in downtown High Point, North Carolina.
