HIGH POINT, N.C. (March 7, 2026) – Carolina Core FC has announced the signing of goalkeeper Nolan Anderson for the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season.

Standing at 6’3”, Anderson joins the Core following a professional stint in Spain with CD Almuñécar City, part of the well-regarded FC Málaga City Academy system. A highly-regarded young talent, Anderson brings elite youth-level experience to the roster, having previously earned call-ups and caps with the United States U17 Men’s Youth National Team.

“Nolan is an incredibly promising young goalkeeper with a combination of size, agility, and international experience,” said Assistant General Manager and Head Scout Andy Williams. “He has developed within some of the best academy structures in the world. His shot-stopping instincts make him an exciting addition to our goalkeeping corps and we look forward to his continued development in 2026.”

The 20-year-old Arizona native is no stranger to the professional landscape in the United States. Before moving to Europe, Anderson developed within the Houston Dynamo and LA Galaxy academies, eventually rising to make his professional debut in MLS NEXT Pro with Ventura County FC (formerly LA Galaxy II).

Known for his imposing aerial presence and modern distribution, Anderson’s arrival further strengthens the Core’s defensive depth for the 2026 campaign.
