Chattanooga FC and Ibarra mutually agree to part ways

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (July 31, 2025) — Chattanooga Football Club announced today it has mutually agreed to part ways with forward Jesus Ibarra.

Sporting Director Sebastian Giraldo said: "We thank Jesus Ibarra for his contributions and the impact he’s made both on the field and in the Chattanooga community during his time with CFC. We wish him the best in his future endeavors."

The 27-year-old joined CFC in June of 2023 and was an integral member of the team's final season competing in NISA before the club joined MLS NEXT Pro. During the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season, Ibarra made 17 appearances and started in 13 matches and logged over 1,100 minutes. Most notably, he scored the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Goal of the Year in the club's 3-0 win over FC Cincinnati 2 on March 23rd, 2024 at Finley Stadium.

In his two seasons competing in MLS NEXT Pro, Ibarra made 28 appearances, scored eight goals and contributed four assists in total.
