Chattanooga FC teams to compete at 2025 MLS NEXT Fest

Chattanooga FC's U14 and U15 MLS NEXT teams are set to compete at MLS NEXT Fest for the first time in Mesa, Ariz in what is the largest youth soccer scouting and talent identification event in the United States.

In its inaugural season, Chattanooga FC will be participating in MLS NEXT Fest.

MLS NEXT Fest is the largest premier winter scouting showcase event in North American youth soccer, and will host 1,474 teams from over 250 clubs. More than 500 professional, college and national scouts are expected to be in attendance for the 2,400 matches scheduled over the course of the 12-day event.

Chattanooga's U14s will compete in the Homegrown Division and play in a group style tournament. The U15s are set to face off against other independent MLS NEXT Pro academies for a shot at qualifying for the 2026 Generation adidas Cup, which will include top international club academies going head-to-head.

"This represents the first MLS NEXT event we are participating in as a club," said Chattanooga FC MLS NEXT Director Miguel Rodrigues. "It's the first time for any of our young athletes to participate at an event of this magnitude. It symbolizes the continuation of this first season and this process we're going through in developing athletes. Generations adidas Cup is arguably the most significant youth soccer event in the United States. It showcases the best soccer players from the entire world in their respective age groups and to qualify for that event would be a massive achievement for our U15s. For the U14s, we want to see them compete in every single game and continue to improve."
