The West Virginia State University defender returns to Chattanooga FC Women for the 2025 season!
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (April 29, 2025) — Chattanooga Football Club (CFC) today announced it has signed defender Billie Jean Davies for the 2025 Chattanooga FC Women's WPSL season, pending federation and league approval.
The West Virginia State University defender from Manchester, England returns after her successful debut season with the team in 2024.
Davies appeared in 20 matches and tallied seven assists, helping the Yellow Jackets to their first-ever Mountain East Conference tournament title and their second ever berth in the NCAA tournament in 2024.
"We are so glad to have Billie Jean back with us after a stellar, championship-winning season at WVSU," said Chattanooga FC Women Head Coach Juan Hernandez. "Her exceptional left foot, combined with her precision on corners and free-kicks, made her a huge asset — and that’s just one part of what she brings to the pitch. We’re looking forward to seeing her back in blue and making an impact once again."
