The Lee University midfielder joins Chattanooga FC Women for the 2025 season!
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (May 8, 2025) — Chattanooga Football Club (CFC) today announced it has signed midfielder Bella Valentine for the 2025 Chattanooga FC Women's WPSL season, pending federation and league approval.
Hailing from Atascadero, California, Valentine made 17 appearances and tallied two goals and one assist as captain for Lee University in 2024. She earned a spot on the Gulf South Conference Honor Roll in 2023 and 2024.
Notably, Valentine was named Offensive Player of the Year at Atascadero High School in 2021, 2022 and 2023. She also earned First Team All-League honors four years in row and was named All-League MVP in 2023.
"Bella is a strong and dynamic midfielder who also brings strong leadership qualities from her time at Lee University," said Chattanooga FC Women Head Coach Juan Hernandez. "Her versatility allows her to excel in multiple positions across the midfield. We’re excited to welcome her to the club and look forward to what she will bring to the team.”
Valentine expessed her enthusiasm upon joining Chattanooga FC Women.
"I feel honored to be apart of this program that so many amazing women have been apart of. I am excited to contribute and hopefully further the excellence of this program."
