Chattanooga FC closes out its busy matchweek on the road when it faces Huntsville City FC on Saturday, March 21. Kickoff is set for 8:00 pm ET at Wicks Family Field in Huntsville, Ala.

Chattanooga FC will return to MLS NEXT Pro action on the road at Southeast Division rivals Huntsville City FC Saturday night.

Last Sunday, captain Alex McGrath made his 100th appearance for the club and scored his second goal in as many matches as the Boys in Blue fell 2-1 at Chicago Fire FC II.

CFC is coming into Matchweek 4 off a quick turnaround from Wednesday night's U.S. Open Cup First Round match that saw the club defeat UPSL Premier Division side Kalonji Pro-Profile 2-1.

Saturday is the first of CFC's three matchups against Huntsville and the first of two in the Rocket City. Chattanooga will host HCFC on May 2 and travel again on September 9.

Chattanooga FC has the advantage in the historic head-to-head between the two sides in MLS NEXT Pro play with a record of 4W-2L-1D (1SOW).

Coach's corner

Interim Head Coach Richard Dixon spoke with media about the strengths of his team.

"When we get our key guys on the ball, we can be very dynamic. We can get behind teams in various ways, we can score different kinds of goals, whether it's from set pieces or going in directly. As we continue to progress, we're just trying to get that frequency of touches and actions from our key guys and I think that's a big area we need to improve in if we are to continue to get results and win games."

Dixon also talked about what he expects to see at Huntsville on Saturday.

"We can look into what they've done in the last few games, but we just have to prepare for everything. They seem to be a young side and are always going to want to play. We have to be prepared for any threats they pose with the intricate football that they want to play. I think last year, they were very good at that and they continued to get better throughout the season. With teams like that, it's about making sure that we're not just playing to win the game."
