Chattanooga FC hosts Atlanta United in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round of 32 on Wednesday, April 15 at 7:30 p.m. ET at Finley Stadium, presented by Modus Build.
Chattanooga FC's 2026 U.S. Open Cup campaign continues Wednesday night when it faces MLS side Atlanta United at home.
The two have met four times previously, but Wednesday will mark the first time a club from the Scenic City hosts an MLS side in a competitive match.
CFC advanced to the Round of 32 with a 1-0 win over UPSL club Tennessee Tempo on April 1 thanks to Nathan Koehler's first goal of the season. Due to the condensed 2026 U.S. Open Cup format, there is no third round, and Wednesday's match will be CFC's first appearance in the Round of 32.

Know the Opponent
Atlanta United comes into Wednesday following a 1-0 loss to Chicago in the Windy City on Saturday night.
The Five Stripes are 1-5-1 to start the 2026 MLS campaign.
Atlanta are led by Head Coach Gerardo 'Tata' Martino.
Midfielder and designated player Alexey Miranchuk leads the team with four goals on the season.
CFC most recently hosted Atlanta in a preseason match in January 2025 and came out 2-1 victors.

What they said
Interim Head Coach Richard Dixon previewed the historic occasion with media this week.
"Last year's preseason win [against Atlanta United] was a good moment for the club," said Dixon. "In preseason games you don't weigh them too much because teams are coming off two weeks of training. Now that this is a competitive game, it's win or go home. I would say this is the biggest game for the club and for the city. We're looking to go out and for us the main objective is to win the game."
CFC forward Alex Krehl talked about how excited the group is to have the opportunity to show what they're capable of.
"It's a huge opportunity to prove ourselves," said Krehl. "Not just as players, but as a club in general. Hosting a club of that size is something I don't think I can really put into words, but everybody has the opportunity to prove themselves, whether that's the staff, us out on the field or the club just getting as many people in the stadium as possible."
