A couple of impressive victories by Ventura County FC and Chicago Fire II have shaken up the Matchweek 22 Power Rankings.
VCFC climbs to seventh after their 6-1 victory over North Texas SC, while out East, Fire II put seven past FC Cincinnati to join the Top 10 Rankings.
A long time coming, Connecticut United finally rejoins the rankings thanks to yet another victory.

Austin FC II remain kings of the hill after earning a shootout win on the road over Earthquakes II on Sunday.
Stefan Dobrijevic scored his fourth goal of the season to help his side hold onto the top spot in the West for another week.
Now, the question is whether Jason Shackell’s side can keep their offensive rhythm without Jorge Alastuey, who signed a first-team deal last week and may be featuring for Austin FC in the coming weeks.Â

A first-half red card made things difficult for Houston Dynamo 2 as they fell on the road by 3-2 to Sporting KC II.
Arthur Sousa and Austin Brummet, who scored his ninth of the season, led the frontline once again.
With the loss, Houston drop to third place in the West and will look to bounce back at home next week against Real Monarchs, where Dynamo 2 has yet to lose this season.

The Eastern Conference leaders made it three straight victories after earning a 3-1 road win over Huntsville City FC.
Hugo Mbongue scored himself a brace in the win, pushing his season total to 11 goals.
There’s no time to rest, though, with Chattanooga FC right behind them in the standings and a Friday trip to Inter Miami II up next.

Make it three straight wins and five unbeaten for Timbers2, who climbed into second place in the Western Conference with a 2-1 road win over MNUFC2.
An Eric Izoita double helped Timbers2 secure all three points, bringing the 18-year-old’s season total to five goals.

An Alex Krehl goal proved to be the difference in Fort Lauderdale this past weekend, as Chattanooga FC earned a 1-0 victory over Inter Miami II.
The win moved Chattanooga FC into second place in the Eastern Conference, just three points off the top spot.
Up next for CFC is a matchup against Atlanta United 2, a team they defeated in a shootout after a wild 4-4 tie back in June.

Columbus Crew 2's game against TFC II this weekend was postponed to a later date.Â
They remain in fourth place in the East and will shift their attention to Red Bull New York II, who visit Columbus on Saturday.

William Rolland Stadium was rocking this past weekend as Ventura County FC earned its third consecutive victory in front of its home fans.
Eric Preston and Julian Placias led the way for VCFC, with each scoring twice to help earn all three points.
VCFC will look to keep the good times rolling when it travels to Texas in two weeks to face a Houston Dynamo 2 side that has yet to lose at home this season.

The duo of Myles Morgan and Matthew Jean Baptiste was a thorn in Red Bull New York II’s side, leading New England Revolution II to a 4-1 road victory.
Morgan scored twice, while Jean Baptiste added two goal contributions of his own during the match.
The win pushed Revs II into third place in the Eastern Conference, where only four points separate first and fourth place.

CT United finally gets the love they deserve, cracking the Top 10 Power Rankings behind a five-game winning streak.
Four different players found the scoresheet for the Coywolves in their 4-2 victory over Orlando City B. With the win, CT United now sit in the seventh spot in the East.
Shavar Thomas’ side will look to make it six in a row when New England Revolution II comes to town on Sunday.

Chicago Fire II is a different team whenever Jason Shokalook steps on the field, and his three-goal performance over the weekend is all the evidence you need.
Fire II reeled off a 7-2 win at home against FC Cincinnati 2 to jump into playoff positioning, where they sit in the eighth and final spot in the Eastern Conference with 33 points.
Fire II scored their highest goal total since a 9-2 win back in July 2025, another match in which Shokalook recorded a hat trick.
