(HIGH POINT, NC – June 10, 2025) – Carolina Core FC has signed midfielder Andrew Czech, adding a dynamic young talent to the roster as the club pushes forward into the next phase of the 2025 season.
Czech comes to High Point following a standout four-year career at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he became one of the more reliable and respected midfielders in the program. The Illinois-born midfielder — who now calls Huntersville, NC home — was known throughout his time with the Tar Heels for his heart, grit, and quiet leadership.
In 62 appearances for UNC-Chapel Hill, Czech tallied two goals and 12 assists across 5,290 minutes of play. His contributions helped the Tar Heels reach back-to-back NCAA Tournaments, including a run to the quarterfinals, where his ability to control the midfield and make plays in key moments stood out.
Before arriving in Chapel Hill, Czech built his foundation with the Sockers FC Academy at the U16/17 and U18/19 levels in Illinois — a program well-known for developing players who go on to compete at the collegiate and professional levels.
Czech will join the group immediately and begin training with the club ahead of the June 13 match.
