Goalie Wars is back!
The fan and player favorite, the cult classic from 2001, the one that everyone has been asking for is officially back!
On Tuesday, July 18, four MLS NEXT Pro goalkeepers will stage an exhibition of the MLS classic, Goalie Wars, at MLS All-Star Skills Challenge pres. by AT&T 5G (7:30pm ET, MLS Season Pass).
The players slated to battle it out for ultimate keeper bragging rights are: Damian Las (Austin FC II), Ben Martino (Huntsville City FC), Xavier Valdez (Houston Dynamo 2) and Isaac Walker (Crown Legacy FC).
The four goalkeepers will compete head-to-head in a single-elimination tournament. During three :90 second rounds, each player will defend his own net while trying to score on his opponent by throwing, kicking or drop-kicking the ball.
It’s sure to be an action-packed showcase that fans won’t want to miss.
